The induction is the first step towards joining the studio. It is 1.5 hours long and demonstrates the basics of riso printing

On completion of the induction all participants become Pay-As-You-Go members. More experienced people can opt for Full membership in their membership form. They should expect to be invited back to the studio for a short written and practical exercise

For ages - 18+ years

Skill level - beginner with some experience and understanding of the process

What does it cover?

• Introduction to the studio and Health & Safety

• Art-working

• Best practice and safe use of key equipment: riso EZ570, MZ1070 and laptop

• Set-up and print of a 1-colour design

• Using the scanner for analog-based work

• Sending files via the laptop

• Need to knows: suitable papers, common issues and how to fix them

• Next steps for using the studio

What to bring?

• Participants should bring something to take notes

• We ask participants do not bring their own images as it will be provided on the day

COURSE CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULEMENT POLICY

1. Changes made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. 

2. Changes made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 30% fee. 

3. Changes made within 2 days or less will not receive any refund.
